Meet Our Pastor

Effective July 1, 2023 Bishop Tracy Malone of the East Ohio Annual Conference will be appointing Pastor Robert Carson as the Pastor for Canal Lewisville & West Lafayette United Methodist Churches. Bob and his wife, Anita, have been married for 38 years. They have two adult sons. Matthew and his wife, Robin, and Mark and his wife, Amanda, all live in Ohio.

Bob was baptized in the Methodist Church in 1958, Growing up in church, he received a solid foundation that has been important throughout his life. After college he worked  a police officer, a park ranger, and a safety consultant. He has been an active volunteer fireman including serving in officer positions as well as the Assistant Fire Chief.

Bon felt the call to ministry most of his adult life. He has served the local church in roles of leadership, teaching, and speaking. In 2004, God finally got his full attention and he entered ministry on a part time basis. Bob has a Bachelors in Business Administration and completed the United Methodist Course of Study in 2021.
